Personal Background
Born in 1976 in East Patchogue, New York, Mr. Sisson pursued his academic interests at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York. His tenure at West Point was not only academically fulfilling but also saw him actively participating in Division I college ice hockey. In 1999, he earned his B.S. in Systems Engineering, complemented with a minor in English from West Point.
Transitioning from the military, Mr. Sisson embarked on his legal journey at the University of Minnesota’s law school. During this period, he secured a federal externship under the esteemed Magistrate Franklin L. Noel of the United States District Court of the District of Minnesota. Expanding his legal horizons, he also spent a semester at Tilburg University in the Netherlands, delving into international law. After earning his law degree in 2004, he relocated to Denver, Colorado, marking the beginning of his illustrious career in private legal practice.
